At PowerCo, we are shaping the battery future.Founded by the Volkswagen Group in **, PowerCo is a globally operating battery cell manufacturer with a strong commitment to sustainability.You’ll be joining a diverse and ambitious team, spread across Germany, Canada, and Spain, all working together to shape the future of sustainable energy.At PowerCo we celebrate collaboration, progress and that spark that turns bold ideas into real impact.From our new gigafactory in Sagunto (Valencia), we’re driving a project that’s transforming both the region and the future of clean mobility in Europe - and you can be part of it.Your role and key responsibilitiesThis position will be part of our Operations Department, the heart of PowerCo - where innovation becomes reality.This area brings together multiple teams working on the construction of our gigafactory and the different stages of battery cell production.From engineering and design to process optimization and production excellence, Operations is where the future of energy takes shape.In Your Day-to-day, You WillDevelop architectural, facility and infrastructure concepts for battery production plants, including clean and dry rooms designed in line with ISO *** requirements, environmental conditions and dew-point targets.Design HVAC, dehumidification and dedusting solutions, together with utility systems for water, compressed air, cooling water, process gases and chemicals.Develop media connection and piping concepts, define interfaces between production equipment and facility systems, and translate operational needs into clear technical specifications and engineering requirements.Integrate engineering solutions into BIM and 3D models, lead clash detection, and coordinate interfaces across architectural, mechanical, electrical, process, and production disciplines.Develop fire protection concepts and risk assessments, coordinate permitting activities with the relevant authorities, and support design reviews, technical clarifications and change management while ensuring safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.What you bring to the teamUniversity degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, Industrial or Building Services Engineering, together with at least 5 years of experience in facility design, infrastructure engineering or industrial construction.Proven knowledge of cleanroom and dry room design, ISO **, HVAC, dehumidification, utilities, fire protection, BIM coordination and regulatory compliance, combined with strong multidisciplinary coordination and problem-solving abilities.Willingness to work in Sagunto.Please note that while some positions are currently based in Valencia, our operations will progressively move to Sagunto, so we require availability to work there from the start.Willingness to work rotating shifts.What makes you stand outExperience in battery manufacturing, automotive, semiconductor, pharmaceutical or another technically demanding industrial environment.Knowledge of BIM and coordination tools such as Revit or Navisworks, as well as experience with permitting processes and Spanish or European building regulations.What to look forward toFlexible working hours.Competitive salary aligned with the Spanish Chemical Industry Collective Agreement.25 vacation days a year + extra PowerCo Days to truly disconnect.Full health insurance coverage for you.Gympass membership to keep your body and mind in top shape.Monthly meal allowance through Cobee.Permanent contract - we’re building something to last.Employee discounts, including special rates on vehicles from the Group.Ready to power the future?Join PowerCo and be part of the change - your journey starts here.#J-**-Ljbffr
