Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you will define and secure MetLife’s enterprise AI ecosystem, building the Agentic Security Control Plane to enable safe, scalable AI adoption. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into AI development from the ground up and govern AI security across global operations. You’ll shape standards, guardrails, and risk management for agentic technologies while driving compliance and secure platform architecture at scale. This opportunity sits at the nexus of AI innovation and rigorous security in a leading financial services company. Compensation / Benefits * Build security controls governing agent permissions, tool access, and inter-agent trust to prevent privilege escalation and unauthorized actions. * Define and operationalize threat models for LLM-based systems (prompt injection, insecure output handling, excessive agency, data poisoning, model misuse) aligned to OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS. * Own enterprise AI SPM architecture with full asset inventory, risk posture, and policy compliance visibility. * Lead Shadow AI Discovery capabilities to detect unsanctioned AI tools and deployments via network telemetry, cloud scanning, API gateway analysis, and endpoint signals. * Embed security controls and benchmarks into CI/CD pipelines across AI lifecycle (training, fine-tuning, deployment, inference). * Serve as the enterprise-wide technical authority on AI and agentic security, publishing standards and reviewing designs for security risk before production. * Partner with AI platform engineering, MLOps, DevOps, IAM, and Enterprise Architecture to embed security without slowing delivery. Tasks * 5-7 years of experience in enterprise AI security, governance, and risk management programs. * Hands-on experience implementing AI security controls, guardrails, and asset discovery. * Strong knowledge of AI security frameworks (NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATLAS, OWASP AI guidance) or equivalent. * Experience securing AI applications, copilots, LLM-based solutions, or agentic systems in cloud environments. * Strong cloud and security architecture background with ability to assess and mitigate AI risks. * Ability to influence technical decisions and communicate effectively with engineering and executive stakeholders. Key requirements * comprehensive health plan * 401(k) with employer matching * life insurance * parenteral/paid parental leave * paid time off and holidays * tuition assistance
