Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will help modernize Naval Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for MK48 torpedoes by developing and testing ATE software. You will collaborate with in-office engineers to translate legacy code and sustain systems, bringing modern languages into play. You’ll become a subject matter expert across multiple ATE platforms and work on challenging, mission-critical hardware/software integration. This position offers growth toward a lead role within a skilled Navy-facing team. Compensation / Benefits * design, develop and test Automated Test Equipment software * read, translate, and reverse-engineer legacy PASCAL into modern languages (C++, LabVIEW, TestStand) * analyze documentation to understand legacy systems and improve designs * become SME on software for multiple ATE systems and support their sustainment * collaborate with cross-functional peers to design state-of-the-art test systems for the Navy * demonstrate ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and autonomously overcome technical hurdles Tasks * B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another engineering discipline * five years of experience * experience designing software solutions for automated test equipment (ATE) * strong working knowledge of electrical test and measurement concepts * familiarity with National Instruments PXI, LabVIEW, and TestStand * familiarity with PASCAL * US citizen able to obtain SECRET clearance Key requirements *
