Job description

Experteer Overview As an Embedded Software Engineer in our Cyber group, you develop mission-critical, NSA-certified cybersecurity devices built on in-house hardware. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test real-time software for high-speed data systems. The role offers meaningful impact in national security and opportunities to lead technical efforts across long product lifecycles. You will work on cutting-edge cybersecurity challenges in a fast-growing product line. Compensation / Benefits * Develop real-time embedded software for Linux-based systems * Design, implement, integrate, and test software for hardware-backed products * Translate CONOPS, specifications, or requirements into software designs and test plans * Lead debugging and maintenance across long product lifecycles * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical direction when needed Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field or Master’s with relevant experience * 8+ years of relevant experience (or 6+ years with Master’s) * U.S. DoD Secret security clearance at time of hire * U.S. citizenship Key requirements * flexible schedules with every other Friday off (9/80) * 401k matching * flex time off * paid parental leave * healthcare benefits * health & wellness programs
