Staff Full Stack Software Engineer- Orbit Platform

Experteer Overview As a Full-Stack Software Engineer on the Orbit Platform team, you will build core features for Orbit, the orchestration and intelligence software powering Boston Dynamics robots. You will collaborate across Spot, Atlas, and Stretch software groups to shape platform capabilities, from on-robot code to cloud services. You’ll design architecture, contribute to multi-robot fleet management, and help scale cloud infrastructure. This role offers hands-on development with modern stacks and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality software that enables robotic applications at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and deliver polished software features using Node.js, Golang, Python, React, Express, Typescript and cloud capabilities * Collaborate with UX, Product, Field Applications, Customers and other engineering teams to prioritize features * Maintain and improve Orbit platform features and cloud operations, triage issues, participate in on-call rotations, and automate tests * Design core software architecture spanning on-robot code to cloud services * Contribute to platform capabilities for agentic applications and multi-robot fleet management * Support application lifecycle management solutions and scaling of cloud infrastructure Tasks * 5+ years of production-quality software experience * Strong foundation in networking, server-side and client-side technologies * Experience in a software platform team building core infrastructure features * Experience with LLM integrations, Kubernetes, Terraform or other IaC tools, and public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) Key requirements * medical * dental * vision * 401(k) * paid time off * annual bonus
