Job description

As a CBRE Facilities Audit Readiness Program Lead (or Audit Readiness & Facilities Compliance Lead), you will own and execute the site audit readiness and 5S program across multiple facility areas, including mechanical spaces, laydown yards, generator yards, and other operational environments. This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for maintaining inspection-ready conditions at all times through routine area inspections, issue identification, corrective action coordination, work order management, stakeholder accountability, and continuous improvement.

This position partners cross-functionally with Site Leadership, Operations, Maintenance, EHS/HSE, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure facility areas meet site standards for housekeeping, organization, compliance, safety, and audit readiness. The role reports to the Site Lead and serves as the program owner for audit readiness activities, inspection scheduling, action tracking, and follow-through.

This role is fully onsite Monday-Friday in King of Prussia, PA.

WhatYou’ll Do:

Own, administer, and continuously improve the site Audit Readiness and 5S program across multiple facilities and operational areas.

Schedule, facilitate, perform, and document routine site inspections, area walk-throughs, and 5S assessments for mechanical spaces, laydown yards, generator yards, and related support areas.

Identify deficiencies related to housekeeping, material storage, mechanical area conditions, labeling, organization, safety, compliance, and general site standards.

Create, submit, and track work orders and corrective actions to closure; verify completion and effectiveness of remediation efforts.

Partner with Site Leadership, Operations, Maintenance, HSE/EHS, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to prioritize and resolve findings based on criticality and operational risk.

Maintain audit-ready conditions at all times for formal and informal client audits, internal audits, inspections, and leadership reviews.

Support development, revision, and implementation of playbooks, procedures, inspection checklists, standard work, and reporting tools.

Order and manage supplies needed to support area organization, housekeeping, visual management, tagging, and sustainment activities.

Tag, document, and communicate issues requiring correction, escalation, or further evaluation.

Facilitate accountability by following up on commitments, due dates, and deliverables across cross-functional stakeholders.

Review work order reports and inspection data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for preventive action and continuous improvement.

Prepare and present performance metrics, inspection summaries, trend reports, and status updates to site and client leadership.

Partner with the HSE/EHS team to report near misses, support serious injury and fatality (SIF) prevention activities, and reinforce safe work practices.

Review vendor proposals, submitted documentation, and completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with site expectations.

Recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, standardization, visibility, and program effectiveness.

5+ years of relevant experience in facilities, maintenance, industrial operations, EHS, compliance, quality inspections, or a related environment.

Mechanical, maintenance, industrial, or technical operations background strongly preferred.

Experience working in operational, industrial, critical environment, manufacturing, utility, or large campus facilities preferred.

Working knowledge of 5S, workplace organization, and continuous improvement practices.

Experience conducting field inspections, documenting findings, and driving corrective actions to closure.

Familiarity with CMMS / work order management systems, inspection trackers, and reporting tools.

Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple areas.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive follow-through in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and project-coordination skills.

Ability to influence cross-functional teams and hold stakeholders accountable without direct supervisory authority.

Safety-first mindset with the ability to recognize hazards, escalate concerns, and reinforce compliance expectations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and present status updates to leadership.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Additional preferred qualifications”

Experience supporting client audits, internal audits, or compliance inspections

Experience with contractor coordination and vendor performance follow-up

Familiarity with risk assessments, hazard identification, and corrective/preventive action processes

Experience building or improving a program from the ground up

Lean, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement training/certification

OSHA awareness or general industry safety training
