With domain expertise across consulting and technology they unlock new sources of opex and capex efficiency and effectiveness.
Manufacturing Systems Systems Engineers enable Manufacturing Modernization with deep specialization in Execution systems (MES/ MOM), Automation, and Plant data models.
THE WORK:
- Own the migration of heritage CygNet SCADA logic onto the modern Ignition platform, defining the script-migration path and converting and mapping heritage scripts, logic, and data
- Work within the program’s defined Ignition database and UDT structure so that migrations align to the target data model rather than being ported in isolation

- Honor the hybrid UDT and SQL design, keeping external calls off the operational hot path
- Lead integration readiness and own integrations through each regional cutover into live operations
- Validate migration and integration correctness against operational behavior and edge cases
- Enable and support the delivery teams applying the migration path and integration patterns at scale
- Document conversions, mappings, integration patterns, and edge cases for reuse
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years Deep, hands-on CygNet expertise, with proven experience migrating heritage SCADA logic and data onto a modern platform
- Minimum 2 years’ experience integrating historian/PI (AVEVA) data and working to defined data models (UDT and SQL metadata structures)
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience leading integrations through system cutovers in a live operational environment Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 8 years’ work experience), or demonstrated work experience equivalency. BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

- Strong enterprise integration engineering across REST/API, enterprise messaging (Kafka), and .NET, integrating industrial and enterprise systems

- AutoSol and EFM measurement (FlowCal, API 21.2) exposure
