Job description

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Develop, optimize, and administer Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Design and maintain efficient ETL pipelines using SSIS and Python to support enterprise data integration initiatives.
  • Develop Python-based solutions for data extraction, transformation, automation, and reporting.
  • Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable business insights.
  • Develop and maintain QlikView/Qlik Sense dashboards while supporting migration initiatives from Qlik to Tableau.
  • Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database objects to improve application performance.
  • Implement and support Kafka-based data ingestion and messaging solutions using Python.
  • Collaborate with business users, data architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality analytics solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as an MS SQL Server Database Administrator/Developer in enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including database administration, T-SQL development, query optimization, indexing, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and database design.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python for data processing, ETL development, automation, and analytics using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with QlikView/Qlik Sense development, dashboard creation, and report maintenance. Experience migrating Qlik applications to Tableau is highly preferred.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) with exposure to modernizing legacy SSIS solutions using Python.
  • Experience working with Apache Kafka as both Producer (Publisher) and Consumer (Reader) using Python.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, data modeling, ETL pipelines, and data integration best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
