Job description

Duties: Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Responsible for providing technical support for NXP’s wireless products Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/ZigBee/Thread/Matter. Implement, integrate and debug wireless protocol stacks and MPUs to provide strategic technical insights and enhance cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product team. Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex software issues for customers, ensuring high-level technical resolutions. Design, develop and optimize application from embedded systems with ARM processors. Responsible for implementing and integrating various system-on-chip (SOC) hardware interfaces, including Ethernet, USB, UART and SPI. provide strategic technical insights and enhance cross-functional collaboration with engineering and produce team. make quick responses to all customers and help them resole software/hardware issues. 10-15% domestic travel to various locations req’d for customer onsite debugging, workshops, customer platform bring-up’s.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering (with related variants such as VLSI or Physics), foreign equivalent or related field.

Three (3) years of experience in job offered, Technical Lead, Embedded Engineer, or related occupation.

Required skills:

Position requires three (3) years of experience in:

Embedded firmware development for Microcontroller SDK (software development kit) development for embedded system. Understanding Linux-based systems, including kernel modules, device drivers, and user-space applications Experience to develop real-time applications on FreeRTOS, optimizing task scheduling, memory management, and peripheral integration for embedded systems. Programming in C/C++, Python, Shell script and SWIG. Experience in networking protocols: Wireless Communications ( Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), IPV4 routing, TCP/IP, UDP, ARP, 802.1Q VLAN, L2 bridging Experience in Software development and integration of various interfaces, such as I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, DMA and PCIe. Knowledge of tool like GitHub, Bitbucket, Git, Jira and Confluence..

Salary: $216091 per year

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles. Company benefits include health. dental, and vision insurance. 401(k), and paid leave. Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is: $166,200 to $228,500 annually
