Senior Python Developer (Java / Spring Boot / SQL)

We are seeking a Senior Hands-on Developer to support and enhance a Numerix-based platform (preferred: Numerix Oneview). This is a high-visibility role focused on maintaining business-critical systems, resolving production issues, and driving improvements across Python, Java services, and SQL data layers. The role requires strong ownership, troubleshooting ability, and close collaboration with both business stakeholders and offshore teams., * Support and enhance applications interacting with Numerix (data processing & outputs)

• Investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution
• Develop and modify components using Python
• Contribute to backend services built on Java / Spring Boot
• Use SQL for data validation, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Work directly with business users to understand issues and translate into technical solutions
• Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure delivery quality and prioritization
• Engage vendor/product support teams when required for issue resolution

• Strong hands-on experience in:

• Python
• Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
• SQL
• Proven experience in production support / troubleshooting environments
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction ability

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Numerix Oneview
• Background in capital markets / financial services systems
• Experience working with data-driven financial platforms

Additional Notes

• On-site presence required (McLean / DC Metro area)
