Job description
We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Developer & Administrator to take ownership of our critical workforce management solution. You will serve as the technical lead for the daily health, optimization, and evolution of our Salesforce environment. The ideal candidate balances deep technical expertise in Apex and SOQL with the administrative precision required to manage Field Level Security, profiles, and complex form configurations.
What You’ll Do
- System Stewardship: Maintain platform stability through proactive troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and systematic bug-fixing.
- Custom Development: Write, test, and deploy clean, scalable Apex code to support evolving business requirements.
- Data & Performance Optimization: Architect and execute complex SOQL queries to ensure optimal performance across large datasets and cross-object relationships.
- Platform Configuration: Design and manage dynamic forms, validation rules, and page layouts while strictly enforcing data governance through Field Level Security (FLS).
- Identity & Access Management: Manage user profiles, permission sets, and service accounts to ensure the principle of least privilege.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Translate high-level business needs into technical requirements, providing regular status updates and project documentation.
Requirements
- Core Salesforce Expertise: Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools (Flow, Validation Rules) and programmatic tools (Apex, SOQL).
- Performance Mindset: Demonstrated ability to optimize database queries and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in high-volume environments.
- Technical Communication: Proven ability to lead requirements discovery sessions and explain technical solutions to non-technical business stakeholders.
- Independence: A self-starter mentality; you are comfortable managing your own ticket queue, prioritizing bugs, and delivering solutions on time with minimal oversight.
Technical Requirements
- Development: Apex Classes, Triggers, Controllers, and Test Classes.
- Data: Advanced SOQL, experience with Data Loader or similar migration tools.
- Administration: Managing Profiles, Permission Sets, OWDs, and Field Level Security.
- UI/UX: Experience designing and maintaining Salesforce Lightning Record Pages and Dynamic Forms.
