Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will support a DoD-focused cloud infrastructure program, applying IA expertise to secure private cloud environments and ground systems. You’ll work within an Agile team to implement security controls, prepare authorization documentation, and drive risk mitigation across cloud migrations and lifecycle activities. You will collaborate with government stakeholders and program management to shape secure, compliant solutions that enable mission success. This position offers hands-on work with DISA/STIG controls, RMF artifacts, and modern IA tooling in a fast-paced defense context. Compensation / Benefits * Provide cyber security expertise for private cloud environments including security framework, network, apps/tools, and control documentation * Develop and implement security requirements; support coding, testing, installation, certification, and deployment for cloud and ground environments; oversee cloud migrations * Develop/maintain System Security Plan (SSP) and RMF documentation * Provide IA support to maintain ATOs for systems and services * Secure system configurations per DISA STIGs, install tools, perform scans, report results * Conduct vulnerability assessments and continuous monitoring; recommend risk mitigations * Support security planning, findings reporting, and resolution during system testing * Advise management and government customers on IA matters * Demonstrate proficiency in Linux and Windows VM environments from sysadmin/engineering perspective Tasks * Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI * Associate’s degree with 7+ years of related experience; or Bachelor’s with 5+ years; or Master’s with 3+ years; 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree * DoD Directive 8140.03 qualification for the assigned cybersecurity work role at the Intermediate level * Hands-on Linux and Windows system administration and engineering * Experience with NIST 800-53, ICD-503, CNSSI 1253, JSIG * Experience in risk management, requirements analysis, design, test, and certification * Experience with vulnerability analysis/management and threat assessments * Familiarity with DoD security tools such as ACAS, Tenable, Splunk, LDAP, TLS Key requirements * Salary range: 86,000 - 138,000 USD * Overtime eligibility * Shift differential * Discretionary bonus * Top Secret/SCI clearance support * Career growth in a national security-focused role
