Test Automation Quality Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Test Automation Quality Engineer for a Contract with a client in Mount Laurel, NJ. The ideal candidate with experience developing and executing automated test solutions to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across web and API applications., * Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and RestAssured to ensure application quality and reliability.

• Create, execute, and optimize UI, API, regression, functional, and end-to-end test automation suites across web applications and services.
• Develop and maintain Page Object Model (POM)-based automation frameworks, reusable test components, and testing best practices.
• Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, schemas, and integrations using RestAssured and automated API testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to review requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot defects, support root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement of quality assurance and automation processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Software Testing, or QA Automation roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Page Object Model (POM), test automation frameworks, and web application testing.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors., Pay Details: $37.00 to $53.00 per hour
