Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will help design and deliver large Federal IT programs focused on homeland security and emergency management. You work closely with senior government clients and cross-functional teams to shape cloud and AI-enabled solutions, modernization efforts, and mission-focused outcomes. The position blends technical leadership with consulting, enabling growth across multiple projects in a hybrid work environment. You will be a steward of the firm, contributing to new business and client service through innovative, collaborative problem solving. Compensation / Benefits * Guide the Government chief architect on cloud strategies for large IT solutions * Develop innovative, future-ready solutions across technologies to meet government needs * Assess programs to identify modernization opportunities, including AI/machine intelligence * Design AI-enabled solutions to advance government missions * Collaborate with development teams and clients on technical requirements for legacy modernization * Perform code reviews and document areas for improvement in software architecture * Provide quality assurance and project oversight * Engage with stakeholders to align business and technical requirements * Support additional engineering initiatives and cross-team collaboration * Help clients solve problems and deliver measurable mission results * Act as a company ambassador, supporting new business opportunities and strategic initiatives Tasks * 7-8 years of experience on complex IT projects with Agile-like lifecycle * 4 years of cloud-based technology experience (e.g., AWS) * Proficiency in rapidly learning new technologies and improving designs * Experience designing, developing, and implementing modernized software applications * Experience with AWS native services, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Java, WSDL, DNS, SOAP, REST, XML, CMKs, TLS * Strong client and stakeholder engagement skills at senior levels * Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous environment and manage multiple tasks * U.S. Citizenship; Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearance * Strong written and oral communication, collaboration, and leadership potential * Ability to work remotely and in-person; MS products and SharePoint proficiency * Desire to join a consulting firm and engage in company events and projects * Willingness to travel within the Washington, DC metro area Key requirements * hybrid work environment * salary range $125,000-$155,000 * professional development * benefits and bonuses as part of Total Rewards * opportunities for career growth * travel to client sites
