AEGIS Systems Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will advance missile defense by integrating Aegis Weapon System equipment across the Guam system. You will work with federal engineers, military officers, and contractors to deploy and sustain AGS capabilities. You’ll lead integration, testing, and site setup while managing schedules and risks to ensure a secure, capable defeat of evolving threats. This position offers a meaningful impact on national defense through cross-functional collaboration and complex systems engineering. Compensation / Benefits * Plan, procure, and integrate all Aegis Weapon System equipment for the AGS Guam * Serve as an integration and support element within the Defense of Guam system of systems * Lead coordination for integration, testing, and deployment from FEM-02 to IOC across Guam * Manage the AGS Sites Equipment List (SEL), schedules, and risk identification * Combine engineering rigor with project scheduling to drive system improvements * Lead technical interchange meetings, perform risk assessments for hardware, and verify equipment placement for optimal deployment Tasks * US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance * Bachelor in Engineering or related technical/scientific discipline * 5+ years of relevant professional experience * Mastery of MS Office; familiarity with Jira, Confluence or Teams * Aegis Weapon System experience * Note: PhD graduates often hired at this level Key requirements * medical * dental * vision * paid time off * ESOP * 401(k)
