Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you deliver technically complex software solutions, leading integration projects and supporting production systems. You collaborate with business product owners to shape design and ensure robust, automated, and secure delivery. You’ll work in an Agile setting, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software while mentoring teammates and building monitoring and security capabilities. The position offers hybrid work from Charlotte, NC with travel to meetings as needed and a focus on banking systems and value delivery. Compensation / Benefits * Deliver technically complex software solutions and system integration for project work * Consult with product owners to understand goals and propose design solutions * Develop, customize, configure software using project-specific tools * Lead and participate in development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support with robust unit testing * Build automated monitoring and security controls for production applications * Lead moderately complex projects and mentor teammates; participate in Agile processes * Automate testing and support for production and warranty phases * Ensure code aligns with Product Owner acceptance criteria Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field plus 3 years of software engineering or IT consulting experience; or Master’s degree plus 1 year * Experience with data conversions between processors * Knowledge of information systems and IT best practices * Understanding of business processes and competitive IT strategies in banking * Project planning, problem solving, and mentoring abilities * Experience with Banking systems requirements and cross-functional design * Strong Android development knowledge (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) and mobile UI patterns * Experience with cross-team collaboration to build accessible, responsive applications * Feasibility studies and evaluating project viability * Proficiency in Kotlin, Android Studio, Emulator, Jetpack Components, OOP, MVC/MVI/MVVM, networking, REST APIs, JSON/XML, Java, Postman, SOAPUI, GIT/Gitlab, SpringBoot, AWS * Residency/work location requirements for Charlotte, NC (hybrid/remote possible) Key requirements * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Life insurance and disability * 401(k) plan * Paid vacation * Paid sick days * Paid holidays
