Job description

Experteer Overview As Product Security Architect for Sandisk’s Flash portfolio, you will define and drive the security architecture across firmware and hardware for enterprise, client, retail, mobile and automotive lines. You’ll lead threat modeling, set the security roadmap, and ensure security is embedded from concept through productization. You’ll collaborate with hardware, firmware, and security teams to meet regulatory and industry standards and elevate product security. This role offers impact across a world-class memory technology platform and security-first culture. Compensation / Benefits * Lead security architecture for Flash product lines (firmware, hardware, secure manufacturing) * Drive threat modeling and reference embedded security architectures * Define cross-functional interactions between system components and peripherals * Contribute to verification/validation requirements for security features * Lead internal security reviews and guide external evaluations and compliance * Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and PSA teams to embed security into design * Promote secure design mindset across projects and product lines * Stay updated on industry security standards and best practices Tasks * Master in Electrical Engineering (preferred embedded security specialization) * 10+ years of experience in embedded product security * Expert understanding of practical cryptography * Proficient in security protocols, cryptography, authentication, attestation, authorization, secure boot, secure communications, digital signatures, certificates, post-quantum cryptography * Solid ability to create and validate threat models * Experience providing technical leadership to architects/teams * Experience in driving FIPS, Common Criteria certification (asset) Key requirements * paid vacation * paid sick leave * medical/dental/vision insurance * life, accident and disability insurance * 401(k) with employee stock purchase plan * tuition reimbursement
