Job description

Experteer Overview As an Innovation Attorney, you will serve as the practice-facing expert for legal technology adoption, generative AI integration, and client-facing innovation. You will partner with attorneys and leadership to translate tech and process ideas into practical solutions that improve service delivery and client value. This role focuses on designing tools, dashboards, and workflows, while driving adoption through change management and coaching. You will work across practice groups to pilot, evaluate, and scale innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. Compensation / Benefits * Lead initiatives to improve legal service delivery through process optimization, workflow design, technology enablement, and best practices * Evaluate workflows, resource utilization, service delivery models, and market trends to boost efficiency and client value * Partner with attorneys and practice teams to develop, implement, and continuously improve processes, tools, and solutions * Serve as trusted advisor on practice innovation, technology, and service delivery strategies * Design tools, dashboards, portals, and other resources that provide matter metrics and insights * Capture and leverage matter/experience data to improve future service delivery * Support collaboration solutions for clients, local counsel, and third parties * Identify opportunities to present tech-enabled innovation in the firm’s client value proposition * Manage practice innovation projects from planning to execution, including scoping and timelines * Track milestones and status; coordinate cross-functional workstreams * Communicate with staff regarding efficiency, technology, client solutions, and initiatives * Support adoption of generative AI and legal tech; pilot, evaluate, and scale solutions * Provide one-on-one support and coaching to attorneys using AI and other tools * Embed new tools and best practices into daily practice through change management and enablement * Educate attorneys and legal professionals on innovation, resources, and improved service delivery practices * Partner with the Innovation training team to deliver onboarding, trainings, demonstrations, and workshops * Create practical training content and real-world use cases * Serve as day-to-day connection between practice group attorneys and the Innovation Team Tasks * Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and US bar admission in good standing * Minimum four (4) years of experience as an attorney in a large law firm * Experience managing projects or process improvement initiatives across multiple stakeholders * Experience supporting change, training, or process improvement initiatives * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Familiarity with collaboration, knowledge management, and workflow tools such as SharePoint or HighQ * Ability to quickly learn and use new legal technology and AI-enabled tools * Familiarity with project management or task tracking tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, MS Project) is a plus * Strong communication and collaboration skills Key requirements * competitive compensation * excellent benefits package * innovative and collaborative environment
