Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will manage and optimize Verifone’s Azure cloud and core infrastructure services, focusing on secure, scalable, and reliable systems. You’ll partner with product teams to advance authentication, identity management, and access controls for enterprise workloads. You’ll drive capacity planning, incident response, and governance to support a fast-paced payments environment. Compensation / Benefits * Manage and maintain the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment * Support Intune/SCCM, SQL Server Clustering, IIS, storage, networking, and security services for production and test environments * Oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), SSO, Certificate Authority and certificates * Collaborate with product development on key activities and projects * Coordinate and report on strategic initiatives and project deliverables * Establish and report metrics for capacity management and SDLC requirements * Develop and enforce rapid problem-detection and escalation processes for NOC and incident response teams Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CIS or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree * 10+ years of professional IT experience in enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments * Azure Administrator or related certifications preferred (e.g., MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, MCPD) * Experience with Windows Server 2019/2016/2012, IIS, SCCM, AD, SQL 2017/2019 * Knowledge of Linux, ITIL (incident management, change control), backup/recovery and DR practices * Hands-on experience with Azure AD, AD administration, IIS, SQL Server management and clustering * Strong security understanding and networking knowledge * Experience operating high-availability, transactional systems Key requirements *
