Job description

Experteer Overview As Lead Desktop Engineer for EUC, you drive the design, deployment, and security of the enterprise endpoint environment. You provide advanced technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and push platform modernization to improve reliability and user experience. You collaborate across teams to establish standards, manage large-scale endpoint platforms, and ensure regulatory compliance. This hybrid role offers a chance to shape secure, efficient end-user computing at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as a senior technical leader for enterprise endpoint platforms and workplace technologies * Lead design, implementation, and administration of end-user computing solutions * Set engineering standards, procedures, and best practices * Act as primary escalation point for complex endpoint issues * Provide mentorship toDesktop Engineers and Senior Desktop Engineers * Engineer and maintain enterprise endpoint management platforms * Ensure health, stability, and performance of endpoint fleet * Develop device configuration standards and security baselines * Manage OS lifecycle activities (deployments, upgrades, patches) * Support Windows, macOS, virtual desktops, and cloud-based endpoints * Lead implementation of new technologies to improve UX, security, automation, and efficiency * Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations * Design deployment methodologies and testing strategies * Partner with Security to strengthen endpoint posture and implement WDAC and Defender * Support vulnerability management, incident response, and regulatory alignment * Develop automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalability * Create and maintain technical docs and knowledge articles * Lead endpoint-focused projects and coordinate across teams * Manage deliverables, schedules, and readiness for new solutions * Ensure smooth transition of new solutions into operations Tasks * 7+ years of experience in enterprise endpoint environments * 5+ years with large-scale desktop management platforms * Advanced experience with Windows endpoints * Hands-on with Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, Entra ID, Jamf Pro * Familiarity with Microsoft Defender Antivirus and WDAC * Strong PowerShell and automation skills * Experience implementing endpoint security controls and deployments * Experience leading enterprise deployments and modernization efforts * Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis * Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities Key requirements * Competitive compensation * Annual bonus eligibility * Generous retirement plan * Hybrid work schedule * Health and wellness benefits including online therapy * Paid time off and volunteering days
