Job description

Summary: We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer / Architect to lead the design, development, modernization, and integration of enterprise tax applications supporting a large public sector organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing scalable .NET solutions, integrating legacy and modern systems, and working across enterprise application architectures. This role requires hands-on development along with architectural leadership, ensuring high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions., * Design scalable enterprise application architecture

Lead modernization of existing .NET applications
Develop and enhance enterprise web applications
Design and implement system integrations
Build secure REST APIs and backend services
Optimize SQL Server and DB2 database interactions
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams
Review code and establish development standards
Support production deployments and resolve complex technical issues

Requirements

8+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core
Experience designing enterprise application architecture and integration solutions
Strong experience with SQL Server and DB2
Experience integrating with legacy systems through CICS Gateway
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, and enterprise integration patterns
Experience with Windows-based enterprise applications
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
Experience performing code reviews and mentoring development teams
Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills, * Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications
Experience working in government or public sector environments
Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments
