OpenShift Platform Migration Engineer OpenShift Administrator

Seeking an experienced OpenShift Engineer to lead migration of containerized applications from ClearDATA to the Horizon Landing Zone (LZ). The role involves OpenShift administration, Kubernetes operations, application deployments, cluster support, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and successful migrations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead containerized workload migrations from ClearDATA to Horizon LZ.

Deploy, administer, and support applications on Red Hat OpenShift (OCP).

Manage KubernetesOpenShift resources (Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Routes, ConfigMaps, Secrets, PVPVC).

Troubleshoot cluster, networking, storage, and application issues.

Support OpenShift cluster administration, monitoring, and maintenance.

Collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and application teams.

Create migration documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.

Ensure security, compliance, and operational best practices.

Experience: 5+ Years (3+ Years in OpenShiftKubernetes)

Primary Skills: Red Hat OpenShift (OCP), Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, Linux, DevOps, 5+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in OpenShiftKubernetes.

Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OCP).

Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, LinuxRHEL.

Experience with container and cloudhybrid migrations.

Knowledge of RBAC, Networking, Ingress, Storage Classes, PVPVC, and CICD.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred

Red Hat OpenShift Certification.

Experience with Ansible or Terraform.

Healthcareregulated environment experience.

AgileScrum knowledge.
