Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the design and integration of activation management features for embedded automotive systems, ensuring power-efficient and robust vehicle functions. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate feature intent into production-ready architecture and testing frameworks. You’ll drive system requirements, manage risks, and mentor junior engineers, contributing to GM’s software-defined vehicle capabilities. This role offers an opportunity to shape how features are activated and controlled across ECUs at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Lead system engineering efforts for activation management features from concept to production * Develop and implement activation management architecture for embedded systems and collaborators * Define and manage system requirements aligned with vehicle architecture and performance objectives * Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams for seamless integration * Apply SAFe methodologies for planning, execution, and delivery * Organize complex tasks, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks * Conduct system-level testing, debugging, and issue resolution * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field * 8+ years in embedded systems development within automotive or related industries * Proven expertise in software algorithm design for real-time embedded applications * Proficiency with SAFe for large-scale software development * Strong ability to manage complex projects and fast-paced environments * Ability to leverage AI to accelerate work processes * Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills * Ability to provide technical leadership and drive cross-team changes Key requirements * hybrid work model * company vehicle program after motor vehicle report * relocation benefits may be eligible
