Experteer Overview In this role you will design and advance cybersecurity data analytics capabilities across diverse IT environments to strengthen security response and assurance. You will drive data-driven security maturity, enabling cross-functional teams to act on insights. You’ll tackle complex data problems, shape technical plans, and evangelize data-centric security practices. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence security outcomes at Truist through scalable analytics and incident-focused playbooks. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement advanced cybersecurity data solutions to identify risks and guide response and security assurance * Perform data acquisition and analysis to uncover vulnerabilities and support remediation * Integrate data from multiple security technologies and define automatable scenarios and processes * Serve as technical escalation for challenging security data issues and create reusable solutions * Assess emerging threats, tools, and architectures and influence technical plans and priorities * Collaborate with product, engineering and operations to apply security practices across the SDLC * Develop and maintain security baselines, guardrails, and control patterns for compliance * Lead major incident response and forensic activities, coordinating tasks and improving playbooks * Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other security engineers to elevate capability * Lower barriers to data excellence through enablement, evangelization, and smart design Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience * Minimum of 7 years in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles * Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles and concepts * Proven experience with software development lifecycle security practices * Deep knowledge of threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing * Experience implementing and managing complex information security technologies Key requirements * medical * dental * vision * life insurance * disability * 401k
