Job description

Seeking an experienced Lead Data Modeler with strong Banking and Credit Modeling expertise to support enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as the liaison between the enterprise data program, Lending & Credit business teams, and the Enterprise Data Modeling team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data models that support credit risk, lending, and regulatory reporting. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise data modeling initiatives supporting banking and credit risk domains.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Data Program, Lending & Credit Division, and Enterprise Data Modeling Team.
  • Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand lending and credit data requirements.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data models supporting credit risk, lending, regulatory reporting, and analytics.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering teams using Databricks and enterprise data platforms.
  • Develop reporting and analytical solutions using Power BI.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance, modeling standards, and best practices.
  • Support data quality, metadata management, and model documentation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, stakeholder meetings, and project planning activities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Modeling or Data Architecture.
  • Strong Banking / Financial Services experience.
  • Credit Risk Modeling experience (Must Have).
  • Experience working with Lending and Credit business teams.
  • Strong expertise in:

  • Data Modeling
  • Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Models
  • Data Architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks.
  • Experience building reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Experience with enterprise Data Modeling Tools (Erwin, ER/Studio, SAP PowerDesigner, or similar).
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience.
