Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer

A Data Engineer with expertise in Data Platforms specializes in developing applications on Big Data technologies, such as API development. This role requires a strong foundation in traditional Application Development, along with knowledge of Analytics libraries, open-source Natural Language Processing, and statistical and big data computing libraries. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical abilities to understand, design, write, and debug complex code., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or similar analytical role.

Strong experience with RDBMS and advanced SQL.

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.

Experience preparing and validating Source-to-Target (S2T) mapping documents.

Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data transformation, and data integration.

Knowledge of software testing methodologies, data validation, and defect management.

Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Nice to have skills:

Experience in Finance, Banking, Payments, or Enterprise Data Platforms.

Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Familiarity with cloud-based analytics, data warehousing, and enterprise data platforms.

Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to financial data.

Experience supporting enterprise data governance or master data management initiatives.
