Microsoft Systems Cloud Engineer

Experteer Overview In this senior IT role, you will oversee the Microsoft 365 and cloud-enabled messaging and identity environment to ensure secure, reliable operations. You’ll work within a team of system engineers to deploy Exchange Online, manage Active Directory and Azure AD, and enforce security policies across On-Prem and cloud services. You will optimize collaboration tools (Teams, Outlook) and automate tasks via PowerShell, delivering high service levels. This position offers impact through secure, scalable enterprise systems in a professional services setting. Compensation / Benefits * Administer Microsoft 365 environment and its capabilities * Deploy and manage Exchange Online and related Exchange services * Manage Office 365 and Azure AD configurations and synchronization * Implement security policies (data retention, SSO/MFA) * Provide Tier 3 support and manage escalated tickets * Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting * Administer VPN (Always On) and MDM (Intune) for devices * Troubleshoot Teams, Exchange migrations, and Active Directory issues * Audit Active Directory weekly and manage AD groups/permissions * Collaborate with Local IT to improve incident/ticket workflows * Oversee enterprise systems (Windows/Linux services, servers, SQL, DHCP/DNS, IIS) * Create user guides and maintain documentation Tasks * 5+ years maintaining domain controllers * 5+ years Windows OS experience * 5+ years configuring MS Teams, OneDrive, and O365 apps * Strong AD basics (DHCP, DNS, GPO, Sites and Services) * Azure AD sync setup experience * Intune or other MDM experience * SSO and MFA configurations (Okta & Azure a plus) * Experience with email technologies (archiving, antispam, SMTP logs) * PowerShell scripting and automation * Migration/deployment experience for Exchange and O365 tools * Ability to work in a team, multitask, and communicate clearly Key requirements *
