Job description
Experteer Overview In this role, you own the connectivity feature system and its cloud integrations, aligning vehicle, cloud, privacy, and supplier implementations with Ford standards. You drive the definition of requirements, interfaces, and governance across cross-functional teams. You’ll shape how features behave in the real world, from OTA updates to fleet-services and data privacy. This is an opportunity to influence end-to-end connected experiences at scale within Ford’s mobility ecosystem. Compensation / Benefits * Define system, feature, and interface requirements for connected vehicle features * Own Ford cloud interface definitions and connectivity architecture requirements * Coordinate supplier integration and ensure alignment with Ford architecture * Govern OTA/MMOTA deployment, content, and version governance * Define customer onboarding, UI/UX expectations, and privacy disclosures * Establish governance for privacy, cybersecurity, and regional compliance * Oversee provisioning, manufacturing integration, and SIM provisioning * Validate supplier implementations against Ford requirements and perform system verification * Lead cross-functional technical decisions and influence engineering, product, and supplier teams * Define fleet-telematics and remote-command capabilities and lifecycle management Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience * 5+ years in systems engineering, connected vehicle, telematics, cloud services, or infotainment * Experience defining and managing requirements and interfaces * Understanding of vehicle-to-cloud architectures and connected ecosystems * Experience with requirements management, traceability, change management, and system integration * Knowledge of vehicle communications, telematics, remote commands, and data collection * Ability to work with cross-functional teams including software, cloud, hardware, cybersecurity, legal, and suppliers * Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, consent management, and data governance Key requirements * Immediate medical, dental, vision coverage * Flexible family care days and parental leave * Tuition assistance * Vehicle discount program for employees and family * Paid time off and holidays * Paid time off with option to purchase additional vacation
