About the Role

As a Data Architecture Lead , you’ll lead and grow a team of skilled data architects to design, implement, and scale modern enterprise data solutions. You’ll define the organization’s data architecture strategy, ensuring our platforms are robust, secure, and future-ready. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic vision - shaping how data supports business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data architects.
  • Define and execute the enterprise data architecture roadmap, including data warehouses, lakes, and streaming solutions.
  • Set and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and governance principles.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to translate strategy into scalable data solutions.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to strengthen data capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture, including 4+ years in leadership.
  • Proven success designing large-scale enterprise data solutions (cloud, warehouse, streaming).
  • Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and programming (Python, Java, or Scala).
  • Deep knowledge of cloud data platforms (preferably GCP) and governance best practices.
  • Preferred: Experience with DataOps, data mesh/fabric, MLOps, and cloud certifications.
