Location: Brussels, Belgium Work Model: Hybrid Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 6 Months

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect with 8-10 years of experience to join a leading enterprise project in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution architecture, cloud technologies, Java-based enterprise applications, and DevOps, with the ability to lead technical teams and drive architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications.
• Lead development teams and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive technical estimations, solution design, and project planning activities.
• Establish development standards, coding best practices, and architecture governance.
• Mentor developers and support Agile delivery across multiple teams.
• Design secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-native applications.
• Promote DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Solution Architecture or Enterprise Application Architecture.
• Strong expertise in Java , Spring Boot , and Microservices .
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale application architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure .
• Strong knowledge of DevOps , CI/CD pipelines , and cloud-native development.
• Experience with Oracle , PostgreSQL , or other enterprise database technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• TOGAF, AWS Architect, or Azure Architect certifications.
• Knowledge of Open Banking APIs.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Performance engineering expertise.
• Security architecture and Identity & Access Management (IAM) integration experience.
