Job description

COSMOTE Global Solutions , part of the OTE Group of Companies , is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage data analysis, machine learning, and statistical techniques to extract valuable insights that drive informed business decisions and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop, test, and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.
  • Continuously research and apply new data science techniques and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 13 years of previous relavant experience in IT.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
