Consultant Senior - Data Science & AI (Trilingual NL/EN/FR)

At Exsolvæ, our consultants carry the title of Solver, and it’s a title you earn. We take the development of every Solver seriously, each one belongs to a Core Domain, works with a Leader who actually follows their progress, and presents their work in Cerebro sessions to colleagues who know the field as well as they do. The Data Science & AI Core Domain serves some of the biggest names across finance, retail, automotive, … clients who run AI in production and pay dearly when a model gets it wrong.

That’s the work we’re hiring for.

Your role, on mission

• Design and build AI applications that create measurable value for customers and employees, from intelligent automation to decision support
• Own the full lifecycle: framing use cases with business stakeholders, prototyping, production deployment, monitoring
• Set up rigorous evaluation: reference datasets, quality metrics and the safeguards that keep models reliable in production
• Work in agile squads and present your results directly to senior management

Your role, within the community

• Share what you learn: Cerebro sessions, co-built playbooks, code reviews between Solvers
• Mentor peers and be mentored: seniors who enjoy passing on what they know do well here
• Help shape where the Core Domain goes next

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science); a PhD is an asset
• Senior profile: minimum 5 years of professional experience in data science and analytics
• A proven track record of AI applications shipped to production, including at least one agentic AI solution (LLM-based agents, orchestration, tool use) that you can walk us through in detail
• Expert Python with solid engineering practices (git, testing, production-grade code)
• Hands-on experience with deep learning and modern model architectures
• Trilingual, mandatory: fluent English, fluent French or Dutch, and full professional proficiency in the other national language (FR or NL)
• Based in Belgium and available on-site in Brussels roughly half the time
• A genuine desire to be part of a community: you share what you know and you show up for the collective moments

Strong assets

• Agent orchestration frameworks: LangGraph, MCP, Google ADK
• LLM evaluation and safety: guardrails, red teaming
• Natural language processing and speech technologies
• On-premise model deployment in regulated environments
• MLOps: monitoring, testing and delivery pipelines for models
• Enterprise data science platforms, SQL, bash
• Financial services background
