Job DescriptionA vacancy for "Cyber Security Architect" (d/f/m) has arisen within the Defence and Strategic Programmes Cluster for Airbus Cybersecurity in Spain. We provide products, development, concepts, and cybersecurity engineering to internal and external customers in Airbus. As a European specialist, Airbus shields customers, agencies, and critical infrastructures from cyber threats. We are looking for experienced Cyber / IT architects with proven experience in the design of complex secure architectures for systems in the defence and aerospace domains. In the role of the Cyber Security Architect, you will be responsible for the security engineering of requirements for safety-critical aeronautical systems such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), aircraft and helicopters in the Aeronautic and Defence sectors.ResponsibilitiesSecurity System Engineering for safety-critical aeronautical systemsRequirements-based and model-based system engineeringCarrying out risk analysesCoordination of security measures with the system design across several engineering disciplinesIntegration of security measures into the aeronautical security development processDevelopment of aviation security system architecturesDevelopment of aeronautical security measures for network and cloud architecturesSupporting the approval process of devices with security features by national and international authoritiesCreation of security concepts in the context of European defence projectsParticipation in European cyber security research projectsCooperation with partner companiesActive contribution to the development of the Cluster in SpainActive contribution to identify and fulfil actions leading to the successful implementation of the company strategy and R&T activitiesIdentification of technologies and market trends to strengthen our activities and our leadershipContribute to international coordination of R&D-R&T programs and roadmapsSupport Coordination platforms business development inside the group relevant with the clusterEstablish and maintain trusted relationship with related as well as Airbus group customers and contribute to provide them with a better understanding of our capabilities and roadmapsContribute to cyber events promoting company skills and know-howSupport company activities in Spain especially in the field of defence and strategic programmes close to entities such as Airbus Military Air Systems, Space Systems and Commercial AircraftCollaborating with international partner companiesQualificationsWe are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:Degree or doctorate in electrical engineering, communications engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science or similar.Practical knowledge in software engineeringExperience with certification processes, e.g. with BSI, NATO and EASAKnowledge of aerospace engineering, e.g. SAE ARP ** advantageousKnowledge of aerospace security standards, e.g. EUROCAE 201 to 205 advantageousOverview of NATO architecture framework (NAF V3 / V4) desirableExperience with requirement management and design tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect desirableExperience on the application security risk assessment methodologies and toolsExperience on national (NSA) and/or transnational (e.g. NATO, EU) accreditation and certification of systems and toolsExperience as a technical manager is a plusKnowledge about model-based system engineeringKnowledge about requirements engineeringKnowledge of system engineering processes like V-model or Agile approachesUsage of cryptographic tools, application of cryptographic algorithms or public key infrastructures are of advantageOperational experience on military environments is a plusExperience with UNIX-like systems, their architecture, their services and implementations is a plus.Knowledge of security frameworks like ISO:* series is a plusExperience in handling classified data and documents is of advantageOccasional travelling is required.Fluent language skill of English and Spanish is requiredThe candidate shall hold or be eligible for Spanish and International (OCCAR, NATO, EU) security clearancesCompanyAirbus Secure Land Communications, S.A.Contract TypePermanentExperience LevelProfessionalJob FamilyCyber SecurityEEO StatementAirbus is committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment. Requirements
