Head of IT Audit Job in London

Experteer Overview You will lead a specialist IT audit and transformation portfolio for a leading global insurer, shaping audit strategy and delivering risk-based assurance on technology and transformation initiatives. In this role you will manage a high-performing team, partner with executive stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across audit methodology. You will help identify emerging technology risks and influence the annual audit plan, contributing to strategic technology risk oversight at the highest level. Pay / Benefits * Lead the delivery of the IT and Transformation audit portfolio * Oversee technology and business audit engagements from planning through to reporting * Partner with Executive stakeholders to provide assurance and strategic insight * Identify emerging technology risks and influence the annual audit plan * Lead, coach and develop a team of Internal Audit professionals * Drive continuous improvement across audit methodology and stakeholder engagement * Collaborate with Group Audit and external partners to deliver high-quality assurance Tasks * Significant Internal Audit leadership experience within financial services * Strong expertise in IT Audit, technology risk, cyber security and digital transformation * Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and leading complex audit portfolios * Relevant audit qualification such as CIA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with technology certifications such as CISA, CISM or CRISC being advantageous * Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills * Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver practical, value-adding assurance Key requirements * Bonus + Benefits
