Job description

  • We design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel from concept to production.
  • We build multi-tenant SaaS applications with tenant isolation and scalability.
  • We maintain and enhance our existing competition and ticketing platform and other Laravel applications.
  • We integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways including PayPal, Stripe, and Cashflows.
  • We build responsive Vue 3 components with TypeScript and modern frontend architecture.
  • We optimise database queries, implement caching strategies, and improve application performance.
  • We manage Laravel queue systems for background jobs and scheduled tasks.
  • We deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms with proper server configuration.
  • We implement security best practices, SSL management, and data protection measures.
  • We debug production issues and deliver timely fixes.
  • We collaborate on requirement gathering, technical solution design, and architecture decisions.
  • We write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following Laravel conventions.
  • We participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
  • We provide ongoing maintenance and feature development across multiple projects.
  • We build new features for both admin panels and customer-facing applications.
  • We create subscription, billing, wallet, and financial features where needed.
  • We build interactive user interfaces for complex flows such as checkout, dashboards, and admin panels.
  • We implement real-time updates with Laravel Echo and WebSockets.
  • We develop reusable component libraries and UI patterns.

  • Support, We are a remote-first team hiring a PHP/Full Stack Developer to join our development team and help us build and maintain web applications using Laravel, Vue.js, and TypeScript. You will work across new feature development, platform maintenance, cloud deployment, and technical problem-solving on multiple projects including multi-tenant SaaS applications and our competition and ticketing system. We offer a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 per year, along with company pension, gym membership, and work-from-home benefits. We use tools and technologies including GitHub, Laravel, Vue.js/TypeScript, WordPress/WooCommerce, AWS/DigitalOcean, and Figma, and this role is based remotely with United Kingdom work authorisation required.

Requirements

  • We require 3+ years of Laravel development experience.
  • We require 2+ years of Vue.js or JavaScript framework experience.
  • We require 2+ years of server management and deployment experience.
  • We require strong full-stack development capabilities with a portfolio to demonstrate relevant work.
  • We require experience with GitHub workflows and collaborative development.
  • We require work authorisation in the United Kingdom.
  • Working knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL database optimisation is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Redis or Memcached caching strategies is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Docker containerisation is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of AWS or DigitalOcean cloud platforms is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Composer and npm or yarn package management is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Laravel Mix or Vite is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of WebSocket or broadcasting features is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of payment gateway integrations such as Stripe and PayPal is an advantage.
