Job description

  • You will be responsible for the administrative operation of the platform (LowCode Oracle APEX), lifecycle management, and technological advancement
  • You will provide central development tools to all other development teams
  • You will develop core platform components, such as authentication (single sign-on), authorization mechanisms (SSO, OAuth, OpenID Connect), standardized REST interfaces, centralized logging and monitoring concepts, and App Store functionality (e.g., APEX Gallery)
  • You maintain development guidelines, perform code quality analyses (e.g., SonarQube), and provide CI/CD pipelines for APEX
  • You will develop low-code applications in agile teams and serve as a developer or technical product owner, * Depending on whether you meet the personal requirements, a standard salary in Pay Grade 11 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Public Service of the German States (TV-L).

Requirements

You have a relevant college degree (bachelor’s or equivalent) in computer science or another IT-related field, or you have at least four years of relevant professional experience in IT. Specific practical experience in application programming or database administration is required for this position

The following skills would be desirable:

  • proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, Restful Data Service (ORDS), REST / JSON
  • web technologies such as HTML (5), CSS, JavaScript, jQuery;
  • proficiency with the necessary development tools for editing and managing software source code
  • knowledge of container technologies
  • basic knowledge of IT security (e.g., privacy by design, etc.).

  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and to familiarize yourself with new topics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication and teamwork abilities, * To work at IT.Niedersachsen, you must have a strong command of the German language, both spoken and written.
