Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced PeopleSoft HCM Technical & Functional Lead to support a large-scale enterprise ERP modernization initiative. This role will lead the modernization and upgrade of the PeopleSoft HCM platform while supporting enterprise Finance and Budget systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical and functional expertise across PeopleSoft HCM modules, ERP integrations, and enterprise modernization initiatives., As a PeopleSoft HCM Technical & Functional Lead, you will provide technical leadership for PeopleSoft HCM modernization, lead application upgrades, support ERP integrations, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive enterprise system improvements while ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards., * Lead the technical and functional modernization of the PeopleSoft HCM application.
- Support PeopleSoft HCM upgrade initiatives and enterprise ERP modernization projects.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solution designs.
- Provide subject matter expertise for PeopleSoft Payroll, Commitment Accounting, and Position Management.
- Design and implement customizations aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop functional specifications, technical design documents, and system documentation.
- Collaborate with business users, functional teams, developers, and project stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Support integration between PeopleSoft HCM and enterprise financial systems, including Oracle Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), and PeopleSoft Financials.
- Design, develop, and support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for enterprise data migration and integration.
- Support budgeting and Position Management processes in large enterprise environments.
- Provide technical leadership for PeopleTools development, including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and related components.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing application maintenance.
- Mentor technical team members and promote PeopleSoft development best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor'’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 16+ years of combined PeopleSoft Technical and Functional experience.
- 16+ years of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.
- Strong experience with PeopleSoft HCM modules.
- 10+ years of PeopleSoft Technical Lead experience.
- Expertise in Oracle SQL and database development.
- Strong experience with PeopleTools, including:
- Application Designer
- PeopleCode
- Application Engine
- Integration Broker
- Component Interfaces
- Experience gathering business requirements and preparing functional and technical documentation.
- Experience leading PeopleSoft upgrade projects.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating PeopleSoft HCM with Oracle Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), or PeopleSoft Financials.
- Experience integrating PeopleSoft HCM with enterprise budgeting solutions such as Hyperion, Oracle Budgeting, or PeopleSoft Budget modules.
- Experience supporting budgeting and Position Management processes within large enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise ERP modernization initiatives.
- Experience with U.S. Federal, State, or large public-sector PeopleSoft implementations.
