Job description

We are looking for a rigorous, cloud-native Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, build, andmaintainscalable backend services using Java and Python, while owning the entire containerized application lifecycle on Microsoft Azure.

You will be responsible for building optimized container images, securely managing them in Azure Container Registry (ACR), and deploying them across the right Azure hosting models-leveraging Azure Container Apps (ACA) for serverless microservices, Azure Container Instances (ACI) for isolated/burst workloads, and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) for full-scale orchestration.

Requirements

  • Programming:Strongproficiencyin Java and Python based backend development with understanding of design patterns.

  • Backend Expertise:Proven professional experience building complex backend systems usingJavaandPython.

  • Containerization Engine:Deep, hands-on experience withDocker-building optimized, secure, and lightweight container images.

  • Kubernetes & Helm Mastery:Strong operational knowledge ofKubernetesconcepts and production experience running workloads onAKS, alongsideproficiencyin writing and managingHelmcharts.

  • Observability Experience implementing centralized monitoring and tracing usingOpenTelemetryor similar observability frameworks.

  • DevOps & Containerization:Familiarity with version control (Git), building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Pay Range: United States of America: 107,000 USD - 125,700 USD

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 7.5

Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
