Accounting Manager SAP S4 Hana

Our client is looking for an experienced accounting professional at the Accounting Manager level (or close to it) to support a large-scale intercompany accounting and reconciliation initiative. This project-based opportunity is ideal for consultants who thrive in complex accounting environments, enjoy investigating issues, and have a strong background in reconciliations, data analysis, and financial close activities.

The organization is working through a high volume of intercompany accounting transactions that are creating delays in the close process. Consultants will be responsible for identifying root causes, resolving discrepancies, improving processes, and helping reduce reconciliation backlogs.

Potential Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve intercompany accounting discrepancies
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and transactional analysis
• Research accounting issues and identify root causes of variances
• Review and correct journal entries impacting financial reporting
• Analyze large volumes of financial data to identify trends and exceptions
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and documentation efforts
• Partner with accounting and finance teams to drive issue resolution
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines

We are interested in speaking with professionals at both the senior accountant and manager/lead contributor levels.

Qualified candidates may have experience with:

• Intercompany accounting and reconciliations absolutely required
• Experience with SAP S4/Hana in an accounting capacity is mandatory
• Multi-entity or complex corporate environments
• Accounting research and investigative analysis
• Financial close support and balance sheet reconciliations
• Large dataset analysis and data validation required
• Process improvement and problem-solving initiatives
• Data mapping and financial systems troubleshooting

• Advanced Excel
