Power Bi Administrator For Server Migration

Duration:4-6 weeks (short-term engagement)We are looking for an experienced Power BI Administrator. The role involves assessing the current Power BI environment, planning and executing migration of gateway servers to a new data center, and ensuring the platform is upgraded and aligned with ongoing monthly updates.Key Responsibilities:Document the current Power BI environment, including:Workspaces, Teams, and end usersUsage metricsDependencies on Gateway serversCurrent Power BI versionDevelop a plan to upgrade Power BI to the latest version and define a strategy for ongoing monthly updatesDesign a migration plan for 2 Gateway servers to a new data center, ensuring minimal impact on the production environment (including potential reuse of legacy server names)Document server architecture, migration plan, and timelinesCreate a test and validation plan for the migrationExecute migration and upgrade of the production environmentProvide post-migration support and perform necessary adjustmentsTroubleshoot issues and ensure system stability and performanceRequirements:Proven experience as a Power BI AdministratorHands-on experience with Power BI Service, Gateway configuration, and administrationExperience with Power BI migrations and upgradesStrong understanding of Power BI architecture and dependenciesAbility to plan and execute migrations with minimal downtimeStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skillsNice to Have:Experience with data center or infrastructure migrationsFamiliarity with governance, security, and access management in Power BIExperience with performance monitoring and optimizationAbout UsEstablished in **, Trinetix is a dynamic tech service provider supporting enterprise clients around the world.
