About the roleParser is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Spain. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our users.Key factsLocation: Spain (Hybrid)Engagement: Full-timeWhat you’ll doDesign and develop scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies, primarily focusing on Python for back-end development and React for front-end interfaces.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and establish timelines for deliverables.Implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full stack, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, employing best practices in coding and architecture.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into the development process.Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their technical skills and advance their careers.Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure effective project management and team collaboration.Document development processes, code changes, and system architecture to maintain clear communication and facilitate onboarding of new team members.Engage with users to gather feedback and insights, using this information to inform future development and improve product offerings.Contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the engineering team, helping to shape the technical roadmap and vision of Parser.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on Python and React.Proven experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Solid understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience with data modeling and query optimization.Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and experience working in collaborative environments.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience with Agile methodologies and a passion for iterative development processes.A portfolio or examples of previous work that demonstrate your capabilities and experience in full-stack development.Nice to haveExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly in deploying and managing applications.Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to enhance development efficiency.Previous experience in a startup environment or fast-paced tech company, showcasing adaptability and initiative.Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience working closely with designers to create user-friendly interfaces.Skills & toolsProficient in Python, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and NoSQL databases.Familiarity with frameworks such as Django or Flask for back-end development.Experience with front-end libraries and tools like Redux or Webpack.Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies, including unit testing and integration testing.Understanding of security best practices in web application development.Practical notesThis position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration in Spain.The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, reflecting the value of your contributions to the team.Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates who require work authorization in Spain.#J-*****-Ljbffr
