Sentinel - Principal Systems Engineer - Thread Support - 18792

Experteer Overview In this role you help lead the Sentinel Logistics Support thread, driving end-to-end systems engineering for ICBM-related capabilities. You will collaborate with SEIT leadership, OCE, and stakeholders to shape technical baselines and ensure high-quality delivery. You’ll coordinate cross-functional integration, mentor teammates, and oversee verification planning and TPM reporting. This position offers growth into technical leadership within a mission-critical defense program. Compensation / Benefits * Become a subject matter expert and technical leader for assigned threads in the Sentinel Program * Coordinate with SEIT leadership and OCE to develop high-quality technical baselines * Brief program leadership, customers, and stakeholders at reviews * Establish working groups and coordination sessions across development communities * Build relationships across program, customers, and stakeholders * Mentor and transfer knowledge to teams * Execute special projects for assigned threads * Provide oversight of all systems engineering products for assigned threads * Define and allocate requirements down to the lowest level * Develop architecture and interface definitions * Outline functional flows and CONOPS/Operations Scenarios * Manage performance budgets, analysis, and margins * Conduct trade studies * Plan verification and coordinate artifacts * Execute verification and validation including reports and customer coordination * Produce design artifacts for compliant thread realizations * Plan integration and test procedures * Identify risks and opportunities with actionable plans * Manage TPM reporting and related activities Tasks * Bachelor in STEM with 5 years of experience, or Master with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year * US Citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance (investigation within 6 years) * Ability to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances in a timely manner * 2 years of experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) or complex aerospace/defense systems * 2 years of experience in team environments with leadership responsibilities * 1 year of experience creating and maintaining system performance documentation Key requirements * Medical, Dental & Vision coverage * 401k * Educational Assistance * Life Insurance * Paid Time Off * Health & Wellness Resources
