Experteer Overview Join Michels Mission Critical as a Project Engineer supporting preconstruction, internal coordination, project plan reviews and documentation control across development and active phases for data center site construction. You will work in a fast-moving project environment, collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to translate concepts into reliable outcomes. You will manage deliverables, review drawings, and support proposal documentation while upholding safety and environmental responsibility. This role offers exposure to large-scale data center projects within a family-owned, safety-driven company. Compensation / Benefits * Support preconstruction activities and internal coordination across development and active project phases * Conduct project plan reviews and maintain documentation control * Focus on data center site construction within a fast-moving project environment * Coordinate with clients, general and subcontractors to facilitate proposals and deliverables * Review construction drawings and support bid/proposal documents * Utilize construction management platforms to track progress and ensure quality and safety * Identify deliverables and collaborate with internal teams to prepare project documents * Travel up to 50% as required Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering * 5+ years of related construction experience * Exposure to data center construction or large campus/infrastructure developments preferred * Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and civil plans * Familiarity with CAD drawings * Experience working with Procore or similar construction management platforms * Ability to perform basic takeoffs from plans * PE or engineering experience desired but not required * Valid driver license and acceptable driving record * Strong communication and coordination skills * Ability to travel up to 50% Key requirements * health, dental and vision * 401(k) plan * paid time off * investment in training per employee * disability insurance (short and long term) * life insurance
