An established proprietary trading organization in Woodridge, IL is expanding its engineering team as part of a large-scale technology growth initiative. The company develops highly performant trading systems and infrastructure and is seeking experienced C++ engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges involving low-latency processing, distributed systems, and large-scale performance optimization., This is an opportunity to join a business that views engineering as a strategic advantage. Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong C++ development experience
  • Experience building high-performance or low-latency systems
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design
  • Linux development experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and optimizing production systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively within engineering teams

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Trading, electronic trading, or quantitative finance experience
  • Strategy development experience
  • Exchange protocol knowledge
  • Market connectivity experience
  • Networking and infrastructure engineering experience
  • Gaming industry engineering background
  • Hardware-oriented or systems-level programming experience
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools, Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis now and in the future.
