Job description

Platform Architect

  • Developer Experience to define and deliver how engineering teams consume platform capabilities through intuitive, self-service developer workflows.
  • This role will own the architecture, design, and implementation of developer-facing platform experiences, enabling teams to onboard, build, deploy, and operate applications efficiently.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect developer workflows, self-service capabilities, and platform integration patterns.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Python.
  • Build scalable backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework.
  • Define how developers consume CI/CD, automation, infrastructure, and platform services.
  • Partner with engineering and platform teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery from architecture and design through implementation and adoption.
  • Develop reference architectures, reusable patterns, APIs, and automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of Distributed Computing concepts and architectures.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python development.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building Microservices.
  • Solid understanding of Distributed Computing concepts and architectures.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Apache Spark is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka is desirable.
