Job description
Platform Architect
- Developer Experience to define and deliver how engineering teams consume platform capabilities through intuitive, self-service developer workflows.
- This role will own the architecture, design, and implementation of developer-facing platform experiences, enabling teams to onboard, build, deploy, and operate applications efficiently.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect developer workflows, self-service capabilities, and platform integration patterns.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Python.
- Build scalable backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework.
- Define how developers consume CI/CD, automation, infrastructure, and platform services.
- Partner with engineering and platform teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
- Drive end-to-end delivery from architecture and design through implementation and adoption.
- Develop reference architectures, reusable patterns, APIs, and automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Distributed Computing concepts and architectures.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python development.
- Hands-on experience designing and building Microservices.
- Solid understanding of Distributed Computing concepts and architectures.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Apache Spark is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka is desirable.
