Product Specialist, Software & AI

Experteer Overview In this role you will drive the strategy, development, and commercialization of software and AI-enabled solutions for protein science workflows. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn assays, data, and automation insights into user-friendly digital tools that accelerate time-to-market. You own the product vision and roadmap, shaping solutions that improve reproducibility and workflow efficiency. This role offers impact across R&D, engineering, and commercial teams in a mission-driven, innovative environment. Compensation / Benefits * Define the technical roadmap for scientific software, data infrastructure, and AI/ML in the Protein Sciences portfolio * Act as technical and innovation lead for scientific software and AI, aligning workflows, data models, and analytics * Identify opportunities where AI and modern data methods unlock new capabilities in assay development and data processing * Translate customer and workflow needs into software and AI product requirements including data models and user experiences * Lead integration of software, data, and automation systems with interoperability across instruments and digital platforms * Drive cross-functional product development from concept to launch with on-time delivery * Evaluate and develop strategic partnerships with external software, data, and AI providers * Support go-to-market strategy and commercial enablement with core product management practices Tasks * 5+ years of experience with scientific software, digital platforms, or data/analytics solutions in life science research * Bachelor’s degree in biology, bioengineering, computer science, data science, or related field * Experience bridging assay workflows, data models, and analytics * Familiarity with cloud-based software and data pipelines * Strong ability to translate scientific complexity into user-friendly digital tools * Experience working across biology, software, engineering, and commercial teams; familiarity with agile product management is a plus Key requirements * health insurance * PTO * retirement contributions * other perquisites * bonus potential
