Senior Network Engineer - Cloud Networks

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, implement, and 운영 cloud network solutions that are scalable, secure, and reliable for Marriott’s global operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale, multi-cloud connectivity and network automation. You’ll shape cloud networking strategies, optimize performance, and drive security practices in line with enterprise standards. Compensation / Benefits * Manage and deliver Cloud Networks products and solutions across cloud provider networks * Design and implement network solutions with architects, developers, and security teams to meet business needs * Provide technical guidance on network configurations and best practices to internal teams and clients * Approve and oversee projects, ensuring timely delivery and service restoration * Vendor management for engineering design, network implementation, and support * Continuously improve operations, document configurations, and introduce best practices and new technologies * Contribute to project schedules, risks, and costs; mentor team members * Establish cross-team relationships to meet service level requirements and participate in capacity planning Tasks * Undergraduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline * 7+ years of network development engineering experience * 5+ years in network development in a DevOps context with public cloud tooling (AAP, Terraform, Harness, Git) * 5+ years in a lead role delivering large scale, resilient cloud network solutions (cloud native and vendor specific) * Strong experience with Cloud Native networking (CloudWAN, VPC, NLB/ALB, Internet Gateways, Transit Gateways, Route 53) * Experience with Infrastructure as Code development (AAP/Ansible, Terraform, Harness and/or GitHub Actions) * Design and deployment of scalable, secure, highly available networks across multiple cloud providers * Deep understanding of routing with emphasis on BGP * Technical writing for network solutions and diagrams Key requirements * 401(k) plan * stock purchase plan * discounts at Marriott properties * commuter benefits * employee assistance plan * childcare discounts
