Senior Director, Core Technology Architect

Experteer Overview As Senior Director, you will define and drive an integrated architecture strategy for Core Technology across cloud, collaboration, and end-user platforms in a global, GxP-regulated biopharma environment. You will establish the foundational architecture function and partner with domain leaders to ensure cohesive, scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise technology. You will shape AI and digital workplace strategy across Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and end-user environments, while aligning with Information Security on cybersecurity capabilities. You will translate complex concepts into business-aligned roadmaps, balance strategy with execution, and influence a federated organization to a Compensation / Benefits * Define end-to-end solution architecture across Core Technology domains (cloud, M365, network, data center, EUC, collaboration, ITSM) * Co-architect and integrate cybersecurity platforms and controls with Information Security * Establish architecture principles, standards, integration patterns, and governance across infrastructure, collaboration, and security * Create reference architectures, design standards, and integration patterns * Drive lifecycle management, rationalization, and modernization of Core Technology platforms * Lead AI-enabled solutions within Microsoft ecosystem and Azure AI while ensuring secure integration across layers * Shape architecture governance processes (design reviews, standards, exception management) * Partner with vendors and service providers to ensure alignment with long-term strategy * Operate as a peer to domain Directors and act as trusted advisor to senior leadership * Ensure operability and alignment between architecture, engineering, and operations Tasks * 12-15+ years IT infrastructure and workplace technologies experience * Proven experience in solution or enterprise architecture leadership roles * Experience in global, complex enterprise environments * GxP-regulated environment experience preferred (biotech/pharma/healthcare) * Strong executive presence and stakeholder management * Ability to translate technical concepts into business-aligned recommendations * Experience collaborating with global vendors and managed services providers Key requirements * medical, dental, and vision benefits * generous paid time off * student loan repayment * commuting subsidy * 401(k) * annual bonus and equity awards
