Principal Data Innovation Specialist (RWD)

Experteer Overview In this role, you advance data strategies in Real-World & Clinical Data Strategy to accelerate evidence generation and decision-making for Roche PD. You will prototype and scale novel AI-driven data solutions, integrating multi-modal data in a data-driven, governance-forward environment. You’ll collaborate across science, engineering, and product teams, shaping a future-ready data ecosystem. Compensation / Benefits * Prototype, validate, and scale AI capabilities with a focus on multi-agent architectures across product development * Lead robust data engineering to build scalable pipelines for unstructured and multi-modal data * Drive analytical innovation projects exploring novel data types and knowledge graph integrations * Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product teams to pilot data innovations and integrate them into workflows * Develop low-/no-code analytics platforms to democratize access to multi-modal data * Provide SME guidance and mentor junior team members on advanced data tools and architectures * Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) throughout engineering and AI frameworks Tasks * Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; 6+ years in data engineering, data science, or healthcare innovation * Proven success in AI-driven analytics, multi-agent architectures, and engineering frameworks in research or industry * Strong experience with agile development, product thinking, and innovation lifecycle frameworks (Lean Startup, Design Thinking) * Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent decision-making abilities * Excellent global communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences Key requirements * discretionary annual bonus * benefits package * global collaboration opportunities
