Security Analyst I

Robert Half is seeking a Security Analyst I for a client in the Fort Lauderdale area. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry- to mid-level professional with experience in security support, IAM, or technical support who is looking to grow their career in cybersecurity.

The Security Analyst I will provide Level 1 support for the security team, including triaging alerts, reviewing logs, supporting patch management, assisting with vulnerability remediation, and handling access-related issues. This role will escalate more advanced security concerns to senior team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage and respond to Level 1 security alerts

• Review logs and identify issues requiring escalation

• Support patch management for workstations and servers, including drivers and firmware

• Assist with vulnerability and risk management efforts

• Handle IAM-related support tasks such as account lockouts and password resets

• Use tools such as ManageEngine and Intune to support endpoint and patching processes

• Document activity and communicate effectively with internal teams

• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 analysts

• Experience in security support, IAM, helpdesk, or IT support

• Exposure to alert triage, vulnerability management, or log review

• Familiarity with account management and access support

• Experience with Intune, or similar tools preferred

• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

• Certifications such as Security+ or CySA+ are a plus, All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
